A.6 Stream/River bank management
These guidelines present methods for the improvement of stream/riverbank stability where these are already suffering from erosion. Also demonstrated are ways and means of rehabilitating stream/river banks with buffers. These will contribute to the creation of a more manageable riverbank habitat that is beneficial to wildlife and at the same time manages the riverine zone, ensuring adequate river function through sediment control and water quality improvement.
